LSU Softball Head Coach Beth Torina talked about her teams amazing performance early on in the season.
Torina and the players have repeatedly talked about the new identity of the 2025 squad. The players describe themselves as accountable and tough. Coach Torina feels the same way about her team.
“I think this team is really just trying, toughness has been there whole goal here, is just to be a little tougher,” Torina said. “Be tougher in every at-bat, be tougher in every moment.”
LSU Softball’s pitchers have always had a lot of depth and this year is no different. This is a big advantage for Torina’s squad because it is a gameplan nightmare for opponents.
“I think we have a lot of different looks, so people preparing for us are going to have trouble deciding what they’re going to get ready for,” Torina said.
LSU Softball faces off against Penn State on Friday, Feb. 21 at 3:30 p.m. CT in the first game of the LSU Invitational inside Tiger Park.
