NFL Draft season has officially begun and there are eight Tigers attending the NFL Combine in hopes of securing a spot as a 2025 NFL Draft pick.
While there are eight LSU players attending the combine, there are three players flying under the radar and might just become steals of this year’s draft.
Zy Alexander was LSUs premeire player in the backfield in the 2024 season and it took the group to the next level. The position group that struggled during the 2023 season took a leg up and part of that was on the back of Alexander.
Throwing passes towards the receiver Zy is guarding proved not be the smartest choice as the corner averaged a lowly 4.4 average passer rating when targeted by opposing quarterbacks.
The defensive line for LSU was talked about thoroughly with star players like Whit Weeks, Bradyn Swinson, and Harold Perkins but one player not talked about enough is Sai’vion Jones.
Jones has all of the best physical traits of a D-Lineman. 6’5, 289 lbs, and an 81 inch wingspan. A fountain of untapped potential. Jones has 7.5 TFLs, 4.5 sacks, 8 QB pressures, and two forced fumbles during the ‘24 season.
Over on the offensive side, Garett Nussmeier’s left hand man will be showing his talents in Indy. Garrett Delinger is a big man: 6’4 and 325 pounds. He has a premiere O-Line build. He’s dense and uses his body well which is obvious in his power play and the way he takes on a bull rush.
Keep an eye out for the teams that take these players, they might just be robbing the league blind.
