With Family Weekend starting on February 21, it is the perfect time to plan for the many events happening on campus, and LSU Athletics should be at the top of the list. The excitement kicks off with LSU Women’s Basketball as they take on Georgia on Tuesday, February 20, at 8 PM in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
The Tigers are looking to bounce back after a tough 58-65 loss to Texas and will need all the home-court support they can get. To make the stakes even higher, Assistant Coach Bob Starkey has pledged one dollar for every student in attendance, a donation that LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson has agreed to match, with all proceeds going to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
As the weekend rolls in, LSU Baseball will be taking the field at Alex Box Stadium on Saturday, February 24, at 4 PM against Omaha. The Tigers had an incredible Opening Weekend, proving why they are currently ranked No. 2 nationally.
