No. 10 LSU Beach Volleyball defeated unranked ULM four sets to one Friday. The win comes after the Sandy Tigers defeated North Alabama 4-1 in the morning.

Fifth-year Senior Emily Meyer and Freshman Camryn Chatellier clinched Friday afternoon’s match with a win on Court No. 3. The duo won the first set 21-17 and the second set 21-14.

Senior Aubrey O’Gorman and Freshman Julia Sprecher completed the match with a win on Court No. 2. The pair won the first set 23-21 and the second set 21-17.

The Sandy Tigers would also go on to defeat North Florida Friday night for the first time in history.

The team goes 3-0 on the day to advance to 7-1 on the season. LSU Beach Volleyball will play two more games Saturday. Their first match vs. UT Martin will begin at 10:30 a.m. Following another match starting at 2:15 p.m. vs. Southeastern Louisiana in the LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium.
