LSU athletics announced the launching of “The Brand” on Monday.
This new branch of LSU athletics will “unify multiple units of the [athletics] department to create the ultimate hub for student-athlete and team brand elevation and innovation.”
The student-athletes and athletic personnel will have access to LSU’s brand-building resources. It includes resources for communications, social media, photo and video, design, podcasts, NIL and marketing.
The Brand will provide student-athletes with brand-building opportunities, with specific intentions of letting students maximize off of NIL and become better professionals in their future careers.
LSU is known nationally for producing icons on and off the fields, floors and tracks. Some of the recent names include Joe Burrow, Angel Reese, Olivia Dunne, Shaquille O’Neal, Pete Maravich and Mondo Duplantis.
The Brand’s headquarters will be located on the south side of Tiger Stadium’s newly renovated third floor.
The newly renovated space on the third floor includes suites of offices, a photo/video studio, a recruit dressing room, a NIL recruiting lounge, an LSU+ studio, a podcast lounge and an LSU Radio Network studio.
