LSU Women’s Basketball Head Coach Kim Mulkey has purchased all student tickets for LSU’s NCAA tournament home games, as LSU women’s basketball announced on X Tuesday.
This is the fourth straight year the Lady Tigers have been selected to host the first and second rounds of the NCAA tournament.
LSU is set to host No. 14 seed San Diego state at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Saturday with a 9:15 p.m. tipoff. The winner advances to the second round, where they will play the winner of Florida State and George Mason on Monday.
All Mulkey asks of fans in her announcement post on X is for them to “show up, be loud and help propel [the team] to victory.”
To request their free tickets to Saturday night’s game, students can log into their LSU Sports accounts with their student emails. Due to the limited seating of the student section, requests for free tickets are not guaranteed.
If demands exceed supply, student tickets will be awarded based on student priority points. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase for $10 for those who are not granted tickets by student priority points, according to the email sent to students by LSU Athletics.
Student tickets will be in the normal student section and will be first come first served for seating. The deadline to request tickets for the first round is Wednesday, March 19 at 5 p.m.
