The LSU trio of Flau’jae Johnson, Aneesah Morrow and Mikaylah Williams were named 2025 AP All-Americans. Morrow and Johnson were also named USBWA All-Americans.
For the AP honors, Morrow was named to the second team, Johnson to the third team and Williams was on honorable mention.
The USBWA named Morrow to the first team and Johnson to the third team.
Morrow led the nation this season in rebounding and double-doubles while also averaging 18.5 points per game.
This season she hit multiple career milestones. She is one of two players in NCAA history with over 100 career double-doubles. And her 1,665 career rebounds ranks fourth all-time in NCAA DI history. She also became one of eight players in NCAA DI history with 2,500 career points and 1,500 career rebounds.
Johnson was LSU’s leading scorer this season, averaging 18.9 points per game. She recorded 15 total games with 20+ points this season.
Johnson has continued to grow each season as she went from 2023 SEC Freshman of the Year to 2024 second-team All-SEC to 2025 first-team All-SEC.
Williams has emerged as the leader of the future for the Tigers, leading the team with 112 assists. She averages 3.4 assists per game and 17.2 points per game. She stepped up to be the Tigers’ leader with Johnson and Morrow out in the SEC Tournament.
Her clutch has emerged as one of the best attributes she brings to the team. Her late shots against Stanford, Oklahoma and Kentucky helped lead the Tigers to victory.
The “Big Three” continue to rack up more honors towards the end of the season, but look to let their game speak for them on the court as they begin their March Madness journey on Saturday. The Tigers will face San Diego State at 9:15 p.m. in the PMAC.
