Art Reception | Louisiana Art & Science Museum
The Louisiana Art & Science Museum will honor Louisiana artist Leslie Charleville from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Charleville specializes in gyotaku, a traditional printmaking technique that allows her to capture the essence of marine life in striking detail and honors the natural beauty of marine life. Each print is a unique record of an animal’s textures, markings or even traces of its DNA. The reception is free and open to the public.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., come purchase a new plant at the Hilltop Arboretum. Patrons can purchase a newly expanded selection of native plants, along with over 300 species of native and traditional trees, shrubs, perennials, vines, ferns, camellias and grasses, all sourced from trusted nurseries in the south. Plant experts will be on hand to assist with your plant selections. The sale is open to the public.

Spring Crawfish Bowl | Stacks Pickleball
Get ready for a taste of Louisiana with a side of pickleball. Enjoy all-you-can-eat seasoned Louisiana crawfish, an open bar, pickleball open play and live music. The courts are open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and admission is $20 per person. Courts will have a rotation system to queue players into a court. Register for open play here. The Flower Fest | Point-Marie
The annual Flower Fest is devoted to celebrating the talent of floral artists and raising money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
