On this week’s Tiger Sports Update a variety of sports are on the menu as it’s going to be a busy weekend for LSU athletes and fans alike.
Live outside of the LSU Tennis Complex, the men’s tennis team is hoping to get their first SEC win of the session against the Gators, and bounce back from the few losses the team has been dealt. They have had some impressive singles wins against No. 18 South Carolina and No. 4 Texas, but will hope to get some doubles wins to add to the record.
LSU Baseball is all gas no brakes as after an explosive 17-4 win against U-L Lafayette on Tuesday, and their upcoming series against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. The team had a tough showing in Austin after dropping their first SEC road series to Texas, in their first conference losses of the season. There is still plenty of baseball to be played, and the guys will look to start the series on the right foot with a win at the Box.
LSU Softball is still flying high after their big win in Athens against the Georgia Bulldogs. The South Carolina Gamecocks are nothing to shrug at thought and will prove to be tough competition for the lady tigers.
Kim Mulkey and the LSU Women’s Basketball team is in Spokane, Washington for their matchup against N.C. State. The squad is on a hot streak with back-to-back 100 point wins that got them to Spokane.
The exciting matchup will tip off at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.
