LSU women’s basketball is losing guard Last-Tear Poa to the NCAA transfer portal, she announced on social media Wednesday.
In her third season at LSU she started 15 out of the 30 games she appeared in while averaging two points, one rebound and 1.9 assists per game.
The Melbourne, Australia, native averaged 3.5 points, 1.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game through 102 games in three seasons for the Tigers.
Poa was considered one of the top junior college players available in the transfer portal in 2022. She averaged 14.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game through her two seasons at Northwest Florida State.
Poa enters the portal with one more year of eligibility because of the recent NCAA rule change around junior college years.
Poa joins Sa’Myah Smith on the list of outgoing portal players so far for Kim Mulkey’s Tigers.
