LSU Women’s Tennis appears in the yearly SEC awards, as Cadence Brace earned the SEC Freshman of the Year award. Brace and her teammate Kayla Cross were named to the All-Freshman and All-SEC teams.

Brace earned 11 singles wins this season, with eight ranked victories, and had a four-match winning streak to cap off the season. She finished the season with an ITA ranking of No. 12.

Cross holds a 10-2 singles record on the season with three ranked victories. She also had a nine-match winning streak during the season. Her success landed her an ITA ranking of No. 44 to wrap up the season.

Brace and Cross also teamed up this season to earn the title of one of the top pairings in the country. They posted a 10-3 record, with seven wins being over ranked opponents. According to the ITA, the pair was ranked as high as No. 3 during the season.
