LSU beach volleyball players Gabi Bailey and Parker Bracken were named CCSA Pair of the Year and earned All-Conference honors, with Camryn Chatellier being named to the CCSA All-Freshman Team.
Bailey and Bracken have an overall record of 26-6 as a duo, with nine wins coming against top-20 opponents. They have also been named CCSA Pair of the Week three times throughout the season.
LSU head coach Russell Brock commented on the duo’s recognition, saying, “Couldn’t be more proud of Gabi and Parker,” “They absolutely earned this honor. Over and over, they’ve proven that they are one of the elite pairs in the country.”
Camryn Chatellier had an impressive freshman season. She finished the regular season with an 18-14 overall record. She arrived at LSU with many accolades, including the 2023-24 Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year and MaxPreps Louisiana Player of the Year.
Coach Brock also talked about the future of Chantellier’s career at LSU when she said, “So excited for her to earn that recognition and even more for how good she is going to be over the next few years.”
These awards come right before LSU hosts the CCSA Championship, which starts Friday in Baton Rouge. The three other teams competing in the conference championship are Florida State, Texas and South Carolina.
