Elite Training Academy is the new hot spot for Baton Rouge Athletes who want to be great.
Baton Rouge is no stranger to big name athletes like Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson, Flau’Jae Johnson, Angel Reese and Ja’Marr Chase, just to name a few. Those players did not get where they were by chance, it was hard work and dedication. President of Elite Training Academy, Greg Stringfellow says the one-of-a-kind facility was built to provide a space for the community to blossom.
“…There is no level that we can’t grow to, I think that we try to provide what the community wants and if the community wants this specific training or this specific skill development, or this specific sport we’re growing to try to grow that.”
In providing for the community, the facility is equipped with every facet an athlete might seek out. The 65,000 square foot facility also features a 3,000 square foot weight room, hot and cold plunge tubs, an infrared sauna, a 60 yd full width, 50 foot high indoor area and more.
“No one has an indoor facility like we have to use for youth sports, no one has that or high school sports even in this region.” said President Stringfellow. “You would have to go to the LSUs, ULL, or even New Orleans and the Saints to get a building like this. There’s not a community building that has the size or scope of that.”
Elite has set out to be the go-to spot for all Baton Rouge athletes and though they’re not into a full year of being open, the Academy has hosted numerous events that have continued to show their dedication to the Baton Rouge community.
