Emery Jones Jr. has been an impactful player for LSU since he stepped on campus as a freshman. He hopes to do the same for the Baltimore Ravens after they selected him in the third round with the 91st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Jones broke into the Tigers’ starting lineup two weeks into his freshman season and never looked back, starting 36 of 38 career games at right tackle.
Jones was a member of one of college football’s premier tackle duos alongside Will Campbell, helping LSU’s offense produce top offenses and a Hesiman quarterback during their time on the ends of the offensive line.
The SEC recognized Jones all three seasons, earning Freshman All-America honors before collecting back-to-back Second-Team All-SEC selections in 2023 and 2024.
Emery Jones Jr. grew up in Baton Rouge and decided to stay home when he committed to LSU.
Jones’ story so far is one of resilience. After tragically losing his father to a heart attack as a kid, he honored his dad by wearing No. 50, which his father wore when he played basketball.
Jones allowed one sack across 864 snaps while playing every offensive snap of LSU’s conference games as a junior. Before he surrendered a sack against Texas A&M, Jones had maintained a 17-game streak of not allowing a sack.
