LSU won game two of their series against Florida in Tiger Park on Sunday night in walk-off fashion.
This matchup was defensively charged from the jump, with both teams only scoring 1 run in 6 innings. This was thanks to the strong pitching from both sides of the diamond. LSU pitcher Sydney Berzon held the Gators to no runs until the 5th inning. Berzon pitched a complete game, only giving up one run and four walks, with four strikeouts.
With the game tied at the bottom of the 7th, LSU’s Sierra Daniel hit a walk-off single to drive a runner home for the 2-1 win over the University of Florida.
