LSU Softball lost to Southeastern, 4-3, on Friday in game one of regional play. After their loss, the LSU Softball players spoke to the media on how to prepare for tomorrow.
LSU cannot dwell on this loss, they have to get back up because they have another game tomorrow. LSU center fielder Jalia Lassiter believes games like these build character.
“It is testing our character,” Lassiter said.
Lassiter did not have her best performance on Friday, but she is eager to go back to playing “LSU Softball” again tomorrow.
LSU Softball’s ace pitcher, Jadyn Heavener, threw over 100 pitches in the game. She had a great performance only allowing 4 runs. Her efforts were not enough to pull off a tiger win against the lions.
“We have gotta have a selfless defense,” LSU ace pitcher Jadyn Heavener said.
Selfless defense is one mindset and action that will help them pull out a win on Saturday against the University of Conneticut.
