When LSU visits the White House, there’s a good chance a viral moment will be born.
The baseball team, visiting Monday in honor of its national championship over Coastal Carolina in June, is trying its hand at spawning this year’s moment.
The video is an homage to a 2020 video of the LSU football team, including star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase (now with the Cincinnati Bengals), dancing to Lil Elt’s “Get the Gat.” It was posted by now-graduated shortstop Michael Braswell III on TikTok.
Front and center in the video is pitcher Gavin Guidry, as well as outfielder Jake Brown (sporting sunglasses), pitcher Kade Anderson, pitcher William Schmidt, catcher Luis Hernandez and Braswell, among others.

While in Washington D.C., the baseball team received a tour of the U.S. Capitol by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, who both represent districts in Louisiana.
LSU was also joined by another in-state champion, LSU Shreveport. The Pilots went 59-0 over their season and won the NAIA championship.
Members of the LSU Board of Supervisors also joined the teams in D.C.
