On Sunday, March 29, 37 women will compete for the opportunity to represent LSU as the 2026 Miss LSU.
Current titleholder Remi Landry said the past year has been a “rollercoaster,” filled with appearances at charity events, LSU functions, and athletic events across campus, as well as competing nationally in the Miss All-American pageant.
“I’ve been everywhere all at once, but a year I will not forget,” Landry said.
Landry spent her year promoting a platform she created, “Confidence in Your Journey,” which focuses on self-advocacy and personal growth.
“I believe the average person deserves to be advocated for, so kind of reigning in on the fact that you’re in charge of your own story and you’re writing your own path and no one can tell you otherwise,” Landry said.
Contestants will compete in interview, evening gown, swimsuit, and on-stage question categories. The contestant with the highest combined score will be crowned.
Landry encouraged the next Miss LSU to take in every moment of the experience.
The pageant will be held at 5 p.m. in the LSU Student Union Theater. Tickets are available online at this link.
