On April 22, Spring Cleaning Day took place on campus to celebrate Earth Week.
Along with LSU Landscaping and Campus Sustainability, students volunteered to plant and mulch the land next to Himes Hall, bringing more greenery to the testing area.
The goal of this event is to bring more greenery to campus and encourage students to practice sustainability.
LSU Landscape Services Worker Kendrick Washington, spoke more about how everyone felt when the idea came into motion.
“We got the platform, we heard about it, we got the paper, and everyone was excited,” Washington said.
“This is one of our favorite events of the year that we do and just to make campus more beautiful and more great, man we was excited.”
