Based out of San Francisco, Cal., Primus is the brainchild of legendary bassist Les Claypool. Originating in 1984, guitarist Larry “Ler” LaLonde has been with the group since 1989 and Jay Lane is their current drummer.

Primus grabbed the attention of rock fans since “Sailing the Seas of Cheese” in 1991 with hits like “Jerry Was a Race Car Driver” and “Tommy the Cat.” Primus has been referred to as experimental rock, combining elements of rock with metal, jazz and funk. Les Claypool is a mastermind recognized for his unique style of bass play he is widely recognized as one the best rock bassists of all time.

What to expect: Primus is currently on their 3D tour, which includes a three dimensional stage production. Being the first ever traveling 3D live musical performance this show is not one to miss.
