The Student Government Senate voted Wednesday to amend the College Council Constitution and to thank the freshman Leadership Council for completing its service project to clean the University lakes.
SGB No. 5, authored by Art and Design senator William Baumgardner, passed with 93 percent in favor.
SG College Councils are composed of senators elected from each college within the University. The bill clarified the different college councils that will exist within SG, as well as who will be a voting member within each College Council.
The president, vice president, the three at large members and senators will all serve as voting members within each Council.
SGR No. 8, authored by UCFY senators David Scotton and Taylor Stewart, passed with 85 percent in favor.
The resolution was intended to thank the Freshman Leadership Council, specifically the Initiatives Committee, for completing a project that cleaned the Universities lakes.
In addition to the legislation, the topic of Tiger Trails surfaced during the weekly SG meeting.
UCFY senator Alexande DeBlieux reiterated that the new Ben Hur evening Tiger Trails bus route will begin operating at 10 p.m. on Thursday evening.
