Taylor Swift Sued for $1.8 Million
As if Taylor Swift needs any more inspiration to write a sad song, the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer is now being sued for $1.8 million.
The lawsuit was filed against the singer and her management company by Florida-based ticket company, FIRE USA Inc. The company is claiming that Taylor Swift kept a $2.5 million check for a concert in Ottowa, Canada despite the fact that the concert was canceled and she never performed. FIRE USA is only looking for $1.8 million of the total check in order to make up for the money that had to be refunded to the concert goers.
Considering Swift’s style, she’ll just end up writing a song about the situation that’ll make enough money to make up for anything she may lose when the case is over.

On the heels of his performance at the Grammy Awards two weeks ago, Timberlake announced this week that he will be performing and hosting “Saturday Night Live” on March 9th. Justin will also be making a week-long appearance on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” from March 11th-15th. These are just a few of the stops that JT will be making leading up to the release of his third solo album, “The 20/20 Experience,” due out on March 19th.
VH1 Casts TLC Biopic
Almost one year after announcing that they would be producing a biopic on the 90’s girl group, TLC, VH1 has finally chosen the lead actresses.
Keke Palmer will play Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas, singer/actress Drew Sidora will play Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, and rapper Lil Mama will play the late Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes.
TLC became one of the most successful girl groups of the 90’s with hits such as “Waterfalls”, “No Scrubs”, and “Creep”. Unfortunately, their success was marred by drama and controversy like having to file bankruptcy, the inability to get along, and the tragic death of member, “Left-Eye” in 2002.
Although a release date has not been announced, the movie will begin filming in Atlanta next month. Charles Stone III (“Drumline”) has been tapped to direct the film.
