Greensky Bluegrass is a band that originates from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Greensky Bluegrass won the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition in 2006. Their fourth album, Handgun, also gained a No. 3 spot on the Billboard’s Bluegrass Charts in October, 2011.
DJ Room Service, one of the hosts of Jamspread, had the opportunity to interview their banjo player, Mike.
Greensky Bluegrass will perform at The Varsity Theatre on Oct. 14.
