Dear LSU Students,
Thank you for your support at the home-opener against UAB on Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium. Despite the lightning delay, it was a great night for football in Death Valley and our Tigers played like a Top 10 team. Your passion and enthusiasm for LSU football makes the atmosphere in Tiger Stadium the best in college football.
Let me apologize for your experience entering Tiger Stadium this past weekend. This year, we tried to make entering the student gates easier and more efficient for you – the student body – but unfortunately the plan did not work as expected….it was a mistake.
We have met with representatives of Student Government and are working with all parties to rectify the situation for this weekend.
We understand that many of you weren’t able to get your
tickets or ID scanned before entering the stadium, and as a result, anyone with a student ticket on their account will get a full credit for attending the game.
Thank you for your continued support of all of our teams and your fellow students. We look forward to seeing you back in Tiger Stadium again on Saturday Night. Student support of our teams is essential to
their success.
