LSU commit Tre’Davious “Shaq” White has received his 5th star, becoming the only LSU recruit to receive the prestigious ranking.

White is listed officially as an athlete by ESPN, but most recruiting websites project him to convert to cornerback at the collegiate level.

Rivals.com has White listed as the No. 1 recruit in Louisiana.

Despite coming in at only 5-foot-11, White has earned the nickname Shaq by playing his best in big games.

White will step in and help a young secondary — led by freshmen Jalen Collins and Jalen Mills — that showed promise last season.
