On March 2, LSUPD officers arrested Guillaume Goodrich, 19, of 2126 Pine Valley, Houston, Texas, for theft of goods, said LSUPD spokesman Capt. Cory Lalonde.
Goodrich was spotted removing the tag from a $40 shirt by a Barnes & Noble employee, who contacted LSUPD shortly after witnessing the crime, Lalonde said
Officers arrested Goodrich as he exited the store with the stolen shirt.
Goodrich admitted to stealing items in the past and trying to return them for a refund, which were denied because he did not have a receipt for the items, Lalonde said.
Goodrich was issued a misdemeanor summons for theft of goods.
