One of the top stories from LSU’s 10-7 win over Ole Miss was that the LSU defense held Ole Miss to only one touchdown. The Ole Miss offense had averaged 35.4 points a game going into its battle with LSU, but only crossed the goal line once that night.
Miles was very pleased the his defense’s performance.
“It took a great defensive effort,” LSU head coach Les Miles said after the game.
The LSU defense has a big challenge this Saturday when Alabama comes to Baton Rouge. Alabama’s quarterback Blake Sims has 2,034 passing yards and 15 touchdown passes on the season.
LSU remains confident that they can have similar success against the Crimson Tide.
“We already saw some of the best quarterbacks, so we just have to contain him,” LSU linebacker Kwon Alexander stated.
Last season, LSU lost to Alabama by a score of 38-17. But they remain hopeful that they can put together a better defensive showing this year.
