A fight on LSU’s parade grounds involving fraternity pledges was reported to the LSU Police Department Saturday afternoon before the start of the university’s football game against the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Most of the people involved in the fight were not present when the police arrived, according to an email from LSUPD spokesman Cory Lalonde to lsureveille.com.
Lalonde said those who were involved and still present did not press charges.
LSU Dean of Students K.C. White said in an email that there “may be potential violations of the Code of Student Conduct,” as more information surfaces.
Anyone with tips or information regarding the incident can anonymously submit it to LSUPD.
