A 1st Circuit Court of Appeal panel partially overturned a 2013 ruling that called for the LSU Board of Supervisors to release the names of the finalists during their search for president of the University.
On Monday, one of the rulings by the 1st Circuit Court of Appeal panel called for the LSU board to release the names of the three finalists as well as a fourth candidate that withdrew from consideration.
The recent rulings stem from three separate lawsuits filed by The Daily Reveille, The Advocate, and The Times Picayune against the LSU Board of Supervisors.
