The Bougie Bar will be hosting a Wax N Wine Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Participants will be able to sip on their favorite wine while making a custom candle. This event is $40 per person and tickets can be found here.

The LSU College of Business will be hosting the Commercial Banking Career Connections event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event will have the top lending institutions and bank regulators for students to learn about potential career paths, network with professionals, discover internships, etc. Learn more here.

Walk it Out | AgBotanic Gardens Trees and Trails
Been a rough semester? Burn out starting to sink in? Student Government will be hosting an end-of-year de-stressing walk on the LSU AgBotanic Garden’s 1 to 2 mile trail to help students relax and finish out the semester strong. This event will run from 5 to 6 p.m. and is open to all. Tickets are free and you can register here.
Fake African Wedding | International Cultural Center
The African Student Organization will be hosting a Fake African Wedding event for students to dress up and learn more about the traditional African wedding. African-themed food, music and more will be provided. This event runs from 8 to 10 p.m. and registration can be found here.

Red Stick Farmers Market’s Strawberry Jam | Downtown
The Red Stick Farmers Market is hosting its annual Strawberry Jam event at its downtown location on 5th and Main streets. Peak strawberry time has arrived here in Louisiana, and local farmers and food vendors are ready to show off their strawberry treats. Everything from jams, pastries, lemonades, shortcakes and more will be available at the market from 8 a.m. to noon.
Zippity Zoo Fest | Bation Rouge Zoo
BREC will be hosting its annual spring festival, the Zippity Zoo Fest, to celebrate the Baton Rouge Zoo’s 54th birthday. Zoo keepers will be out to showcase animal enrichment at the zoo and performances will feature the Louisiana Twirl Force. Red Stick Reads will also be there to do a story time event. The even will last from 11 to 4:30 p.m. and continue on Sunday from 11 to 2:30 p.m.
Zeta Tau Alpha Pancake Breakfast | Zeta Tau Alpha House
Zeta Tau Alpha will be hosting their annual Pancake Breakfast from midnight to noon. There will be pancakes, games, activities and prizes. All proceeds will go to the Zeta Tau Alpha philanthropy, breast cancer education and awareness. Registration can be found here.
Baton Rouge Zydecos vs. Port Huron Prowlers| Raising Cane’s River Center
Baton Rouge’s Zydeco ice hockey team will be playing the Port Huron Prowlers starting at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $5 to $17 and can be purchased here.

The Flower Fest | Pointe-Marie
The Flower Fest is back and here to celebrate the work of local florists and their artistry. This year’s theme of “One Upon a Dream” will showcase towering flower arrangements and also feature live music, food truck and other local vendors. In addition to being a great Instagram post opportunity, this festival is also for a good cause. All profits will be going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Tickets can be purchased here.
Free Access for All Day: The Sound of Music | Shaw Center for the Arts
The LSU Museum of Art will be hosting an event with a special concert and instrumental petting zoo provided by the LSU Chamber of Music. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and is free. Learn more here.
