Holly has been charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder, one count of aggravated criminal damage to property and one count of illegal use of a weapon.
“We are aware that a student-athlete has been arrested in relation to a shooting in Union Parish. This student-athlete has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities, in accordance with departmental policies. Out of respect for the judicial process, we will have no further comment,” LSU said in a statement.
According to the report from The Advocate, the incident occurred at the Union Villa Apartments in Farmerville on the night of Friday, Feb. 9 where one woman was shot three times, leaving her in critical condition, and a man was shot once in his lower leg.

As a freshman this past season, Holly played in three different games and 110 yards and a touchdown, including a 91-yard outing against Army.
Ultimately, Holly used a redshirt for the 2022 season and would’ve been a redshirt freshman entering LSU’s next season.
He was expected to play a larger role in the LSU’s backfield going forward after the Tigers had three running backs transfer away, including lead back Logan Diggs.
Holly played high school football in Louisiana at the Division III level for Union Parish High School. He was one of the most prolific running backs in Louisiana prep history, breaking the state’s all-time career rushing yards record with 10,523 yards.
He was ranked as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and committed to LSU in May of 2022.
