Malik Nabers’ decision to play in the ReliaQuest Bowl paid off, and now he has another spot in the record books.
Nabers came into the game needing just 22 yards to break the record, and he surpassed that mark with 4:10 left in the first quarter. The previous record of 3,001 career receiving yards was held by Josh Reed who played for LSU from 1998-2001.
Nabers already broke the LSU career record for catches against Texas A&M and now adds a second record to a historic career at LSU.
Nabers has not yet announced his plans for next season, but he is currently projected as a first round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
