The No. 4 LSU gymnastics team earned the No. 4 seed for the regional round of the NCAA Championships, the NCAA announced Monday afternoon.
The Tigers (19-2, 12-1 Southeastern Conference) will face No. 9 Nebraska, No. 16 Denver, Washington, Michigan State and Iowa State at the Aimes Regional on April 4.
LSU finished in first place with a 198.325 team score at the Baton Rouge Regional on April 5, 2014.
LSU has two weeks to prepare for the regional meet after it finished in second place at the SEC Championships on Saturday night. It enters the regional with the No. 1 regional qualifying score in the nation on floor, No. 2 on vault, No. 4 on bars and No. 5 on beam.
