Louisiana public colleges, including LSU, might have to file for academic bankruptcy unless plans for higher education funding improve soon, according to a report from NOLA.com.
LSU President and Chancellor F. King Alexander said the University is drawing up paperwork to declare “financial exigency” upon noticing the lack of progress from the state Legislature on finding a budget solution.
