Senior outfielder A.J. Andrews and junior infielder Bianka Bell were named to the eighth-annual Southeastern Conference preseason all-conference team, the conference announced on Thursday.
Last season, Andrews was named to the All-SEC team and led the Tigers with 68 hits. Andrews led the SEC with six triples and was second in stolen bases with 38. Andrews was named an All-American in her sophomore year in 2013.
Bell is accumulating preseason accolades after being named to USA Softball’s Collegiate Player of the Year Top-50 Watch List last week. Last year, Bell earned NFCA All-South Region first team honors after finishing the year with 14 home runs and 51 RBIs.
