This week was a step back from the Red Devil business and a focus in on just who Dean Munsch really is. The episode can be summed up in five main points.
1. The dead speaks her mind.
More specifically, Chanel Number Two. The alive Chanels have a séance to try to make peace with Number Two. (There was a lot of hostility at her funeral.) Number Two tells the girls that Chad is cheating on Chanel and that Chanel is responsible for all of the killings. When Chanel loses it and storms out, Number Three, Five, and Six decide to kill Chanel. Number Two also comes to Chanel in her laxative-induced sleep to let her know that the others are plotting her death.
2. Gigi shows more of her involvement with the Red Devil.
She talks on the phone (again) to someone (presumably) one of the Red Devils. Not much is said except that she knows it’s hard for them and she wants revenge. Gigi also goes on a little shopping trip with Grace that Grace uses as an opportunity to pump her for information on her father. Gigi gives her some snide looks behind her back. She also directs Grace and Pete’s investigation in a new direction: an ex-Kappa named Feather.
3. Feather and her deviance are introduced into the story line.
Feather comes in to the Kappa house to talk to Grace and Pete. When she was still in Kappa, she had an affair with the Munsch’s husband, Steven. When they told Munsch, she freaked out. Munsch began dressing up like Feather and being just plain crazy. Feather ended up leaving Kappa and school. The Munsch and Steven got a divorce and Feather moved into his house. After telling Grace and Pete all of this, she goes home to find Steven’s dismembered hand and foot pinned to the wall with a trail of blood. His head is just floating in the fish tank. No big deal.
4. Chad is lactose intolerant. *gasp*
When Chanel hears from Number Two that Chad is cheating, she storms over to his dorm and apartment. When she walks in, she finds Chad in bed with a goat… Chad explains that he’s been living with this awful secret that he is lactose intolerant. He can have goat milk though, hence the goat. He rubs her belly and then milks her. Oh Chad.
5. Dean Munsch killed her ex-husband.
Munsch was arrested for killing her ex-husband and sent to a mental facility. She then asked Grace and Pete to prove it was Feather and in return she would tell them about the Kappa baby. Grace and Pete find a bologna sandwich with a bit missing at the crime scene and remember that the Munsch is allergic so it couldn’t have been her. After she is free and Feather was arrested, the Munsch grabs a glass of wine and celebrates. She reveals that it was her who killed her Steven, and she had been planning it for a long time. She toasts to “young girls getting what they had coming to them.”
