LSU senior safety Jalen Mills suffered an injury in practice Wednesday morning, LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette confirmed via Twitter.
The program is not releasing any further information on Mills’ injury or how much time he will miss from the team, Bonnette said in the tweet.

Mills, who was projected to start at free safety in 2015, started all 39 games of his LSU career, dating back to his true freshman season in 2012.
The streak is the most of any player on the Tiger defense.
The DeSoto, Texas, native has recorded six interceptions and 186 total tackles in his three seasons in Baton Rouge.
