LSU senior all-arounder Jessie Jordan has been named the Southeastern Conference Gymnast of the Week for the second week in a row.
Jordan earned a share of the honor alongside Arkansas’ Amanda Wellick for her efforts during the Tigers’ victories against Kentucky and then-No. 20 Arizona State on Friday night.
In the comeback victory, Jordan scored the highest all-around total in the SEC with a 39.525, while claiming the all-around, vault and beam titles of the meet.
Through two weeks, Jordan ranks No. 1 in the nation on floor, No. 2 on beam, No. 3 in the all-around and No. 11 on bars.
