DJ Strangelove sits down with local pop groups Prom Date and Rareluth for some chit-chat and an in-studio performance. Both groups will appear at Lagniappe Records Friday, January 23 for an in-store performance, and at Spanish Moon that night with Wild Moccasins.
This candid, uncut interview covers topics like their new album Portraits, their cult drag following in Canada, surprises touring across the south, playing on the West Coast for the first time ever, and the MAGIC, MYSTERY, and GLAM of Rareluth. After the interview, Prom Date plays “Walking Dead” from Portraits and an a cappella cover of Neutral Milk Hotel’s “Two Headed Boy” in studio.
