Freshman Lloimincia Hall tied the nation’s highest floor score and won her second all-around title en route to a 196.550-194.875 win against North Carolina State at the Fifth Annual Etta James Memorial Meet on Friday. Hall earned a score of 9.975 in the floor exercise, rounding out her all-around score at a 39.425. Freshman Jessie Jordan registered 39.225 total score to come in second. Jordan, Hall and fellow freshman Randi Lau tied for the beam title with a trio of 9.850’s while freshman Rheagan Courville and sophomore Sarie Morrison scored the first 9.900’s on bars to match each other and win the event. Courville clocked a 9.875 to win the vault title. The meet raised awareness for breast cancer in memory of the mother of former LSU linebacker Bradie James through his Bradie James’ Foundation 56. James was on hand, along with other former Tiger football greats Justin Vincent and Michael Clayton, and revealed in a ceremony after the meet that the event had raised a total of $100,000.
