Freshman gymnast Rheagan Courville was named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week for the second time this season, the league office announced Tuesday.
Courville won her third all-around title of the season this past weekend against No. 3 Alabama, scoring a 39.450, and she now leads the team with 13 individual titles. The Baton Rouge native also posted second-place finishes on vault and floor with matching 9.90 performances.
Courville, who also earned the honors after her showing against Kentucky on Feb. 3, is the first LSU gymnast since Gloria Johnson in 2009 to be named SEC Freshman of the Week twice in one season.
