The LSU women’s basketball defeated No. 24 Vanderbilt 69-66 on Senior night Thursday, anchored by senior forward LaSondra Barrett’s game-high 20 points and 12 rebounds.
In a back and forth game, the Lady Tigers (20-8, 10-5 Southeastern Conference) dominated on the boards and made a season-high 26 free throws on 33 attempts.
Senior forward Courtney Jones converted a string of free throws down the stretch to ice the game for the Lady Tigers.
LSU sits tied for third in the SEC with Georgia and Arkansas, with one game left to play.
