TigerTrails and Campus Transit will both cease operations Wednesday due to the safety risk posed by high winds and heavy rain forecasted for Hurricane Isaac, said Gary Graham, Director of Parking, Traffic and Transportation.
Campus Transit will still run through midnight Tuesday, Graham said.
TigerTrails operated under the summer schedule Tuesday, in spite of the University’s closure, which runs six buses from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., compared to 18 buses under the full service schedule.
“There’s still students here and we’ve gotten some ridership of the buses,” Graham said.
As of Tuesday afternoon, no plans had been announced to cancel Thursday’s service for TigerTrails or Campus Transit.
