Elephant Painting
I love elephants. Elephants have big floppy ears, awesome long tusks and, in the case of this one, a knack for painting. According to the sidebar, this elephant was once abused, but has been rescued and is now (hopefully) treated humanely. The elephant paints with a brush gripped by his tusk. Slowly but surely, this pachyderm artist will impress you. There will be doubts, but I swear it knows what it is doing.
Bomb the Bass – Butterfingers
Synthesizers are cool. Synthesizers with singing knobs, buttons, keys, levers and joysticks are even cooler. All this awesome stop-motion animation on Youtube is awesome. I want a synthesizer, and little cute/creepy faces on the keys would be a big plus.
Pangea 3000 presents the Beatles Block on WP3K
Do you like the Beatles? Are you on more drugs than all the Beatles combined in 1966? Well, watch this video while I call 911. For the rest of us, this twisted and trippy tribute to the Fab Four is just strange, and entertaining in a paradoxical “WTF?” way. Gotta like the radio announcer, with that radio car dealership add voice (think “NO MONEY DOWN!”).
Mastodon – Sleeping Giant
This video was brought to my attention after it was picked by a friend, and this video’s breathtaking cinematography is just awesome, and it fits the spacy, progressive metal tune by one of the best metal bands today, Mastodon. I especially love this video’s use of color.
Still Hot And Still Streaming: Youtube Classics Revisited
Shoes
An absolute classic, betch. Liam Kyle Sullivan, the comedic actor in drag who plays the shoe-obsessed blonde Kelly, is one actor who knows that it isn’t what’s being said that makes it funny (though the words are pretty funny). It’s HOW it’s said that makes it funny. Kelly, her family, and the shoe saleswoman all speak with unique, funny accents. “These shoes run small. I don’t think you’re going to fet, I mean, your feet are… kinda beg.” There are too many classic moments to count, but the “these shoes cost $300” part gets me every time.
