LSU’s RPI dropped Thursday to No. 52 in the nation, according to Boyd’s World.
The drop comes one day after the Tigers’ 6-5 road loss to New Orleans — their second loss to the Privateers this season.
Eight Southeastern Conference teams have RPIs higher than the Tigers (23-14, 6-9). South Carolina (27-10, 9-6) has the conference’s highest RPI at No. 6.
Georgia (25-12, 12-3), which comes to Alex Box Stadium for a three-game series with LSU this weekend, is No. 12 in the latest RPI rankings.
