The No. 22 LSU baseball team won the final regular-season game in Alex Box Stadium on Sunday, completing a three-game sweep of Mississippi State with a 9-6 victory.
The win was the Tigers’ 12th in a row. They lead the Southeastern Conference Western Division with one conference series remaining.
LSU senior Jared Bradford earned his ninth win of the season, allowing four runs in six innings of work.
LSU freshman shortstop DJ LeMahieu was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and sophomore left fielder Blake Dean was 2-for-4 with a solo home run.
LSU returns to action Tuesday when they face the University of New Orleans on the road.
