LSU senior Quinlan Duhon is the Southeastern Conference Player of the Week, it was announced Monday afternoon.
The Youngsville native hit .467 this past week with two home runs and two doubles. Duhon went 3-for-3 in the Tigers’ final game this weekend against South Carolina. The victory helped LSU secure the third seed in this week’s SEC tournament, which begins Thursday in Tiger Park.
This is the second straight week an LSU player has won the award. Sophomore Rachel Mitchell took home the honor this past week.
