SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — General Motors workers in Shreveport are making their voices heard as Congress considers a bailout for American automobile makers.
Hundreds of GM workers assembled in the Shreveport plant’s parking lot for a rally on Tuesday. Meanwhile, executives for the big three auto makers were preparing to head back to Capitol Hill on Wednesday to talk to a House committee about a possible bailout. They made their pitch Tuesday to a Senate panel.
