BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The Shaw Group Inc. said its Environmental & Infrastructure Group has won a task order to provide support for FEMA’s Louisiana housing mission.
The task order comes under a government contract Shaw holds, and the company didn’t disclose its value.
Shaw’s George Bevan, who heads the Environmental & Infrastructure Group, said Tuesday his company would continue work associated with recovery from hurricanes Gustav and Ike.
After hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005, Shaw identified sites and managed the installation of more than 20,000 temporary homes, in addition to providing technical support services for FEMA operations.
