Both the LSU men’s and women’s basketball teams will tip off this weekend with free admission for full-time students with a 2.0 GPA.The men’s team will play Jackson State to begin their 100th anniversary season at 1 p.m. Saturday, and the first 1,000 students to attend will receive early admission to the football game versus Troy that evening if they already have tickets.The  Lady Tigers will begin their season by hosting the State Farm Tip-Off Classic on Sunday. No. 22 LSU takes on No. 14 Notre Dame, and the game will be shown live on ESPN2. Ten students will receive free bowl tickets to whichever bowl game the football team participates in.The volleyball team also plays Auburn on Friday with free admission for students.
